Horses, past and present
FENLAND SEBASTIAN (FOR SALE) This horse was Laura's first competative horse outside of poines, she was given Seb at the age of 13, and still has him today. He is unfortunatly up for sale, as Laura needs to spend time working with the other horses she has, and does not want him to be wasted. Seb, as he is named in the stable, is a 16.2hh Irish Sports Horse gelding, with a powerful jump and the best school master you could ever meet! Everytime out, you can gaurentee Seb will win or get placed in every class you enter, this still stands after three years of being with Laura! He is a gentleman in every respect, caring for every type of rider, from a novice 4 year old girl, to any very experienced rider, and will always put 110% into everything you do with him, one of the best horses Laura has ever had the chance to compete and work with.
MOLLY MALONE. This is the second of Laura's Irish Sports horses owned again by Mr P. Cusworth. Molly was imported to Laura at the age of 5, and is improving with every apect from mannors to schooling, cross country and jumping every day. She is a very forward going ride, but is sane! A very genuine mare, who Laura hopes to maybe event or showjump (BE OR BSJA) She has a very promising future ahead of her, and will definately make a very good showjumper or eventer mare!
FRAEN FIRST (Merry) This was another project bought for Laura by Mr Cusworth when she was just 11 years old. Merry was a very cheeky (naughty!!) pony when she first arrived, proving very bolshy and mareish, but after working with Merry for around 3 months, Merry was a different pony, she turned out to share Laura's passion for jumping, and for a 12.2hh pony, could jump upto around 1m10 with a rider on her back! Laura competed Merry at unaffiliated showjumping and PC for 2 years before she sadly outgrew her. This pony stayed on the yard for 6 years after this, turning novice riders into the very well trained riders they are today. Merry was recently sold n to another loving family, who she will get the love and attention she needs in return for their daughters riding improvements, good luck Merry!
CONNIE COTTON SOCKS. Mr P. Cusworths Homebred Welsh Section D filly, who Laura is producing. She is now standing around 12hh to mature to make around 14–14.2hh. Born in 2010, Connie is learning well, and now stands correctly on command, walks and trots up ready for the show ring! One to watch out for in the future!
DAINTY. (not sure of her show name!) Dainty is a 4 year old Welsh X, now standing at 14.2hh (ish) future prospect for the show ring, doing working hunter as she has tendencies to jump in and out of fields with 4 foot fences! Very well put together mare, another one to look out for in the future!
